Dear supporters of new music, For four years, new music ensemble thingNY
has created, promoted and performed bold and imaginative experimental
and improvisational concert art music. Over the course of those four
years, thingNY has premiered literally hundreds of pieces (both
through repertoire commissions and its ambitiously extravagant SPAM
concert). thingNY has also been involved in new theatre:
collaborating with Co-Op Theatre East for a performance of Beckett's
Cascando and taking part in a 24-hour theatre marathon, organized by
The Internationalists and broadcast to over a thousand viewers. They're a small, but feisty little ensemble... like a bobcat. And
they're trying to grow. As a registered 501c3 not-for-profit arts
ensemble, thingNY relies on the contributions of arts supporters like
you to help rent halls, compensate its performers and composers, and
effectively promote the music of living composers. Pledge your support by contributing via PayPal, or send a check to: thingNY
Fundraising Campaign Honestly, thingNY is a grassroots organization, so even a modest donation has an enormous impact. Thanks for your time. I hope to see you soon. Paul
